A total of 8 of us were able to take a trip to the disaster areas of Chile. We left out Thursday morning at about 3:30 a.m. and arrived back around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning. This was a great opportunity to give aid to two different Baptist churches in the hard hit areas as well as an opportunity to share the Word of God with thousands of people. We were able to distribute literally thousands of tracts by handing them out personally and also by giving to the two churches so they could reach people in their area. Continue to pray with us for these areas of Chile; they were truly devastated. What has come to my mind is this: We visited many areas of disaster that was caused by this massive earthquake and the following tsunami, but also we visited areas of disaster where many have gone on to eternity never knowing Christ as their personal Saviour. The physical pain is tremendous, but the fact that many there do not know Christ is more severe than words can even express!
